World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn says he would be happy to keep the World Championship at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield permanently.

 

Snooker's greatest tournament has been staged at the famous venue since 1977 and the current contract runs until 2015.

Following the success of the first two year's events, this year is set to be even bigger and better.

 

The Amateur qualifying days will be 6-8 June with the 32 seeded professionals joining the tournament on 9-10

After breaking into the elite in the last year, they both skipped qualifying and are looking forward to playing at the Crucible as seeds.
