It is time once again for the biggest event in Europe, the European Championships, this year in Luxembourg. In 10 days 128 men and 64 women are competing for the titles in 4 disciplines (Straight Pool, 8-Ball, 10-Ball, 9-Ball). This year we will also have a team competition at the end.
“It is truly one of my hardest events in the season because I have to compete in 4 disciplines within 10 days. My trainer and I just came back from Taipei/Taiwan so the jetlag is also an issue here. But I feel good and I am ready.”
Here you can find the official website! (Tournament/draws and results/ and then choose on the right side the discipline, i.e. women straight pool)

“Straight pool started well for me. I played well and had a few highscores. But the semi final went differently. Mazhirina played good and she certainly made use of my mistakes. I just could not play my game. So in straight pool it is only the 3rd place for me this year. New day, new discipline, new chance. Congrats to Line Kjorsvik from Norway for the straight pool title!”

Final

“What can I say I love 10-Ball. The final against the Russian youngstar was not exactly good but I don´t care. I pulled through and that matters. I am happy about this title especially since I haven´t been playing that well. So tomorrow it is time for discipline 3, 8-Ball.”
8-Ball (race to 6)
Day 5 – 25. March. 2012
5:45 pm Jasmin Ouschan vs. Amalia Matas (ESP) 2:6

Semi final
5:30 pm Jasmin Ouschan vs. Marika Poikkijoki (FIN) 5:6
“Well 8-Ball ended just like in 2011. Marika Poikkjoki played really well and my break foul at 5:5 did the rest. But I am okay and I am focused on 9-Ball the last single discipline. Congrats to the young Russian Nataliya Seroshtan for winning 8-Ball.”
9-Ball (race to 7)
Day 8 – 28. March. 2012
3:30 pm Jasmin Ouschan vs. Kim Witzel (GER) 7:2
Day 9 – 29. March. 2012
3:30 pm Jasmin Ouschan vs. Viktoriya Nagornaya (UKR) 7:2

4:00 pm Jasmin Ouschan vs. Anna Mazhirina (RUS) 7:2
Day 11 – 31. March. 2012
10:00 am Jasmin Ouschan vs. Jasmin Michel (GER) 3:7
“Oh well this year is tough. I played well in 9-Ball except in the last match. I missed some horrible shots and she used those chances. I felt a little empty after 3 weeks of competition. But I won 1 gold medal and 3 bronze in the single division, could be worse!”
Team competition (women)
Day 8 – 28. March. 2012
9:00 am Austria vs. Finland 2:0
Day 9 – 29. March. 2012
9:00 am Austria vs. Germany 2:0
7:30 pm Austria vs. Poland 2:0
Day 10 – 30. March. 2012
8:00 pm Austria vs. Norway 1:1 (lost in the shoot out)
“We had a great team event until the shoot out against Norway. Losing it like that hurts but I had a great time playing in the team competition together with Petra Stadlbauer and going home with a bronze medal is still awesome.”
