The IPA wants you to be Finicky!

Written by csa. Posted in Gobal 8 Ball News

One of the objectives of the IPA committee is to raise the image and profile of the sport at all levels, and we strongly believe our members should look professional and act professionally, both on and off the table. Being a member of the IPA is not just about how you perform but how you conduct yourself as an ambassador for the sport, and style plays a huge part in that persona.

We are therefore delighted to announce a new partnership aimed at raising the profile of our professional players with Finicky Shirts, one of the finest garment tailors who specialise in shirt design, development and manufacture.

The IPA wants you to be Finicky! This new arrangement allows each professional player to be measured and tailored to meet their personal requirements for both image and optimum comfort in competition (whatever their shape or size), with a standard design and range of three colours to allow each player the freedom to choose a more personalised image. Standardised positioning of sponsor logos has also been taken into account, with each player allowed two personal endorsements, positioned in accordance with IPA rules.

“Finicky are thrilled to be the official shirt partner and sponsor of the IPA throughout 2012. We take great pride in our uncompromising standards of workmanship and exacting tailoring, which is reflected in our work with the IPA professional players. The bespoke shirts created by Finicky will raise the profile of the elite players and send out an important message to the industry regarding the new style of the IPA.”

David Buisson, Managing Director, Finicky

“We are delighted to have forged this partnership with Finicky Shirts. This alone will dramatically raise the profile of our elite players and sends a message to future potential sponsors that the IPA is lifting the image of the sport forever. The image our professional players will be enjoying this season will encourage the next generation of players to aspire to become the professionals of tomorrow”
